Here’s the plan:
We rent a summer camp on a lake for an entire weekend, invite all our favorite people from near and far, and throw a big party to celebrate our love and life together.

The vision for our wedding celebration is to unwind, enjoy the outdoors, and truly connect with friends and family without any sort of hustle and bustle to speak of. Founded in 1907, Kamp Kohut is a 100-acre summer camp and is 100% ours for the entire weekend. The camp includes 18 cabins for shared sleeping accommodations, a big dining hall with a wrap-around porch, waterfront on beautiful Thompson Lake, ball fields, courts, and plenty of open space all surrounded by Maine’s signature pine trees.
We welcome you to join us and celebrate friends, family, and the beauty of summer in Maine.
Weekend Schedule
Friday, August, 15
Arrive any time after 2:00 pm.
For those staying at the camp, check in, and make your way to your cabin to set up your bunk!
For all, take a big breath of fresh air and get ready for a weekend of fun, relaxation, and celebration!
Kamp Kohut is ours! Take a spin in a kayak, shoot some hoops at the b’ball court or enjoy the lakeside view.
Welcome Dinner – 6:00 pm, campfire and s’mores to follow
Saturday, August, 16
Optional morning dip!
Breakfast – 8:00 to 9:30 am
SUMMER FUN and RECREATION!
Let your inner camper shine!Waterfront: swim, kayak, canoe, SUP, float around and enjoy!
Lawn games: cornhole, croquet, badminton
Hit the courts! Basketball and tennis and all the other ball sporty things!
Capture the flag? Yoga session by the lake? Big game of kick ball? Staring at a pine tree? Whatever feels fun and good ..…. let’s do it!
Lunch – 12:00 to 1:30 pm
More outdoor recreation, relaxation and good times!
Then shower, get gussied up and get ready for the main event!
WEDDING
Ceremony – 5:00 pm
Cocktails – 5:30 pm with dinner, and dancing to follow!
After Hours – 11:30 on… fire, more dancing, and even more fun!!!!!!
